The concept revolved around transforming the central "X" into a functional part of the layout. A spacious, illuminated corridor cut through the middle of the stand, allowing easy flow and full accessibility from every side. Within this passage, private meeting areas were envisioned, creating a balance between open movement and more focused interactions. The layout was designed to feel open, practical, and immersive, with clearly defined zones for hospitality, display, and meetings.
Early design studies focused on how to build around the structural "X" while preserving openness and flow. The layout positioned key functional areas such as the bar, meeting zones, and product showcases around the structure, turning a limitation into a central organizing element. Clear sightlines, directional lighting, and fluid circulation guided the spatial planning.
The stand concept featured a raised floor with illuminated edges and geometric branding that clearly defined its footprint, while vivid LED strips along the central passage amplified visual energy. A custom designed bar with a branded lighting pattern reflecting SmartSoft’s identity anchored one end of the space, with hidden storage integrated seamlessly behind. Sleek materials like metal accents and illuminated glass panels were used throughout to achieve a modern, high-tech aesthetic. Along the longer sides, product showcases and informal meeting areas invited interaction, with one entire section dedicated to the JetX game. Vertical LED screens and integrated lighting patterns provided immersive storytelling opportunities, while a dramatic wraparound top banner supported massive LED displays on all sides, transforming the stand into a glowing beacon on the show floor. Every surface was thoughtfully utilized for branding and illumination, reinforcing a bold and futuristic presence.
As a concept, the SmartSoft & JetX stand for SiGMA Malta successfully turned a structural constraint into the foundation of a bold and practical design. With open access, layered lighting, and clearly zoned spaces, the vision balanced function with striking visual identity. Though conceptual, the design represents a scalable, impactful approach for future exhibition needs one that emphasizes flexibility, brand immersion, and visitor experience.
